We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand new Fostering Devon newsletter.

This quarterly update aims to provide you with even more information around fostering in Devon and the amazing difference foster care can make to young person’s life. You’ll find out the latest Fostering Devon news, including; what we’ve been up to, what we’ve got to look forward to, what becoming a foster carer is like and some other important information about what it means to be a foster carer with Fostering Devon.

Here’s all you need to know…

How often does the newsletter go out?

The newsletter will drop into your inboxes every quarter – so about once every 3 months.

How do I receive the Fostering Devon newsletter?

In order to receive the new newsletter, you’ll need to register for updates, which couldn’t be easier… You just need to sign up here or at the bottom of this page. Remember, you can opt out of the emails at any time by unsubscribing.

Who will the email come from?

Us! Our team will be gathering stories to share with you. Just keep an eye out for an email from DevonCountyCouncil@public.govdelivery.com. We’re part of Devon County Council (DCC), the local authority for Devon – hence the Devon email address!

Already a carer?

If you’re already a foster carer with us, we’ve got a dedicated newsletter for carers. If you’re not yet on the distribution list for this, and would like to be, just let us know. We’re always interested in hearing positive news stories from our carers, so if you have something you’d like to share, you can get in touch.

How else can I keep up to date?

In the meantime, you can keep up to date with us by following Fostering Devon on social media. We’re on Facebook and Instagram. You can also read our latest news stories.

We can’t wait to share our exciting updates with you!
