How to make a complaint

Fostering Devon acknowledges that there will be occasions when you are not happy with the standard of service received from Devon County Council, or the decisions that have been made by the service regarding your registration.

Feedback from foster carers is welcomed in order to ensure that service quality is improved. Our aim is to ensure that any complaints are dealt with fairly, effectively and within suitable timescales.

We recognise that, where possible, a complaint should be dealt with in an informal manner and that an amicable solution is found.

If this is not possible, we will adhere to Devon County Council’s formal complaints procedure to resolve the issue.
